Belgium

Belgium is really two countries in one with half the population speaking Flemish (very close to Dutch) and the rest speaking French. They're too stubborn to admit it though but are to be forgiven for their excellant chocolate and pleasant people.

Now the centre of the bureaucratic EU, Belgium is once more on the map. Not that the average American student would find it with a magnifying glass.
