Drugs on the Road

Lsd Laboratories and the Party Scene

By Roadjunky, Posted Nov 25, 2006

LSD is a very complicated chemical to make and involves plenty of expensive equipment. If you were to fuck up during the manufacture you might easily end up wandering the stars for the rest of your natural days.

The main laboratories turning it out seem to be based in California with perhaps some activity in Holland also. From there the crystal LSD is diluted into liquid. Those with a good connection might get hold of a bottle of liquid acid – this is great because you can control the dosage. Most have to make do with blotters or microdots that have had a drop or two of LSD soaked into them. The picture on the acid means nothing except that it’s probably the same batch as other blotters with the same design.

The problem with the latter is that acid is very sensitive to oxygen and light. It decays quickly and by popular report old acid breaks down into compounds that cause problems to the stomach.

LSD can be found anywhere that there is a party scene and certainly in most big cities of the Western world. South Anjuna beach in Goa might reasonably claim to have had more acid taken there than anywhere else in the world. Though Height-Ashbury in San Francisco might have something to say about that.
