Getting started is easy. While you are still working, decide on the type of vehicle you want to live in and buy it. Sell or give away everything that won’t fit, and move into your vehicle. Keep working at your job while you build a nest egg. To do that, open a savings account, and the first of every month keep paying your rent and utility payment to yourself. The hard part is not spending it because it will soon turn into a lot of money. If you were paying $500 a month for rent and utilities, after a year you will have $6,000. After you have built up a little nest egg, head out for a life of adventure! You can live on your nest egg for awhile but as it starts to get low, you can stop somewhere and work for awhile to build it up. How long you can go depends on how willing you are to live very cheaply. Here are some examples of places to stop and work. If you like to ski you can stop at a ski town and work there for a few months and ski on your days off. If you are a hiker you can go to Yellowstone, get a job, and explore the back country. Anywhere there are tourists there is a job waiting for you and a nice area to explore. Maybe you like history. Spend a summer working at Gettysburg and exploring the Amish country and Philadelphia. When you quit, spend a few weeks taking pictures of New England and a month exploring Washington Dc. As you run out of money, drive down to Orlando or Miami, get a job, and on your days off explore the Everglades. The possibilities are endless! Life becomes an adventure not boring drudgery. If this sounds interesting, let’s take a look at how to make it a reality.
