Pakistan Work and Travel Guide

Pakistanis on the job

Getting a job in Pakistan isn’t easy. English teaching isn’t really on for profit as anyone with any money probably speaks the language better than you do.

You could just volunteer to teach in schools in public schools just about anywhere and you might be able to work out some kind of room/board deal, especially in the out of the way places.

If you’re an IT whiz or have any other particular modern skills you might be able to find a way to work in Karachi.

Either way, Pakistan is definitely a country you can travel in without having to worry about what you’ll eat next. Street musicians and merchants could probably get by here just for their novelty value.

You can live here on just $3-5 a day on a very tight budget. Twice that if you want to splash your cash around. Food and shelter are very cheap.
