Argentina Work and Jobs

Worth more than the dollar yet?

With so many Argentines scrambling for work it may be hard to get something legit here. There are plenty of NGO opportunities in Buenos Aires if you are into saving the world, this is voluntary work though, and you won’t even be paid room and board.

Teaching English here pays relatively poorly compared with Asia. The average class per hour might only get you $5. Still, it’s a good way to meet people and students are known for falling in love with their teachers.

Buenos Aires is a great city for writers to work on the next great novel. One could also write copy for the Buenos Aires Herald, the English language newspaper for the city. There are many chances for artists to work here too, but it helps to have connections and you’ll need fluency in Spanish.
