“People think I’m stupid. But I’m smarter than most people.”
She’s beautiful, she’s famous, and she’s rich. She was raised in a very sheltered way – Paris and her sister didn’t even know that the people actually work to make money until their late teens. It’s an interesting story – but is it really worth all the attention we lavish on her?
As one travels into the world, and witnesses the injustice and poverty firsthand, it can appear almost laughable that the comfortable people in the world choose to spend free time following the exploits of a girl who has Hilton hotels and a sex tape to thank for her name.
Well anyway, her multinational upbringing and her status have allowed her to travel all over the world: Brazil, France, the United States.
Banksy’s Tribute to Paris Hilton
British grafitti guerilla artist, Banksy has his own interpretation of Paris Hilton’s role in modern society where he replaced 500 copies of her cd with his own artwork and reworking of her, ahem, music. Check it out.
We love Paris Hilton so much that we’ve decided to leave you with some few famous quotes:
“I don’t want to be known as the granddaughter of the Hiltons. I want to be known as Paris.”
“I went to Wal-Mart for the first time. I always thought they sold wallpaper. I didn’t realize it has everything. You can get anything you want there for really, really cheap.”
“I think the biggest misconception about me is that I’m this spoiled brat. But I’m not. I’m the total opposite.”
“If you have a beautiful face you don’t need big fake boobs to get anyone’s attention.”
“I desperately hate one thing about my body. I have size 11 feet. Yeah, it sucks, because I see all these super cute shoes in the stores — Guccis, YSLs, Manolos. And when they bring them out in my size, they look like clown shoes.”
