Where to go and be a hippie in nature.

The Rainbow family has a consensus to have no consensus when it comes to looking for rainbow gatherings on the internet, so it’s up to whoever feels like it to spread the word.

Road Junky will be posting information on rainbow gatherings as we hear about them. You can also look for info on rainbow gatherings here

If you’ve never been you’re missing out, so here’s a guide to the Rainbow Gatherings, just grab a guitar and go.

Belgium rainbow Gathering 20 August – 18 September

_The village of Oür is located in the community of Paliseul, about 15 km from Bouillon in the province of Luxembourg, in the south of Belgium. On the E411 in the direction of Luxemburg, take the exit 24 and then take the direction Maissin. In
Maissin, go to Oür. In the village of Oür follow the road going north (Rue de Porcheresse) . Do not go over the bridge crossing the river but follow straight on (Rue de Lesse). The road makes a turn to the right, in between some stables, follow left (do not take the road going straight on), at the next junction take left road where you leave the asphalt road. A little further on is the parking place. Please leave your car there, and follow the signs through the forest, along the river Oür, untill you get to La Toup Toup. It takes about half an hour to walk down. Don’t drive your car down to the camping site, the road in the forest is pretty bad._

_Public transport : the nearest train station is Paliseul, this is about 8 km from Oür, from Oür to the gathering (La Toup Toup) is another 3 km. There is –unfortunately- only one bus per week going from Paliseul to Oür, on thursday at 12h40 (line
6 ). If you can, take your bike on the train, or hitchhike._

England Rainbow Gathering 1 – 22 September

The English are traditionally quite crap at getting gatherings together but we have a good feeling about this one.

By Car:

_The parking is situated on “Highgate Road,” half a mile South from Forest Row
Joining the A22 (Lewis Road.) After one quarter of a mile up “Highgate Road”
you will find a public parking place on your right. From here you can either walk
along the roads, or across the golf course. Once you reach the A22 you will need
to cross over the road and follow the Rainbow signs._

By Public Transport:

_The nearest train station is “Crowborough.” It is five miles East from the
Gathering. Although “Forest Row” has no train station there are bus services
running to and from many destinations. To see timetables visit traveline.org.uk_

just want to make clear that the weather of peru doesnt have anything to do with mexico. (besides its “dry” season)
nevertheless if the mex gathering was a disaster, it was only because of the negligence of the organizer who chose the wrong place (between 2 rivers)
      .
the peruvian crew has no relation with the former gathering. In lak´ech

the idea of the Sussex Rainbow Gathering at Forest Row was a disaster. There is a strict no camping rule enforced by the local Ashdown Forest Ranger, didn’t someone check this out?
The site has had to move….

Hi Emily, I´m just back from the Belgian gathering and ran into a brother called Jay there. Native English speaker, dark, rather curly hair, stocky build, very quiet and with some mental problems. Does the description fit. If yes you can contact me under traveldave355(at)yahoo.co.uk. He seemed to be reasonably fine and though I don´t have his email he might be on the French or Spanish gathering now.

I’ve only attended one gathering and it was in 07 in the Ozarks national forest. Great people, great feelings…too bad the 5-0 were tazing people and slapping tickets on vehicles.
Hope to see family again one day, maybe I can make it to Ocala next year if it’s still goin, anyone want to get in touch drop an e-mail dablackburnmptx@yahoo.com
obviously I live in the US and gettin out of the country is fairly difficult for me, so anything goin on in the southern US drop me a line
Lovin you family! Safe travels and good vibes!
